Yamada Launches "Lifestyle Insurance" on Finatext's SaaS Digital Insurance System

Yamada Small Amount and Short-Term Insurance (Yamada SASTI) has implemented the Finatext's SaaS digital insurance system "Inspire" and launched the "Digital Device Expense Compensation Insurance (Pet name: Yamada Comprehensive Lifestyle Insurance)".

As digital device prices such as smartphones become increasingly expensive, there is a growing need to prepare for troubles like physical damage, natural malfunctions, and water damage to smartphones. "Yamada Comprehensive Lifestyle Insurance" sold by Yamada SASTI is an insurance that covers repair costs of digital devices including smartphones, for up to 5 devices at a monthly fee of 890 yen, with maximum annual coverage of 300,000 yen. Applications and insurance claims can be completed entirely online.

The SaaS digital insurance system "Inspire," which Finatext has been providing since 2020, offers one-stop functions necessary for insurance operations such as web quotations, applications, assessments, contract management, claims, and renewals. With its sophisticated system design, it enables high flexibility, scalability, and improved development efficiency, and has been implemented by 11 insurance providers including small amount and short-term insurance companies and major non-life insurance companies (as of March 2025). It was adopted as the sales system for "Yamada Comprehensive Lifestyle Insurance" because of its proven track record in developing expense compensation insurance for digital devices.
