SBI Sumishin Net Bank has developed an in-house generative AI chatbot for customers called “Helpippi™” and launched the service this week.
“Helpippi™” is designed to allow customers to obtain the information they want by asking questions as if they were talking naturally to a cute character. Unlike typical chatbots, it uses generative AI to understand language and retain context in natural language dialogue, enabling it to provide highly accurate answers.
Natural dialogue through context retention
“Helpippi™” can respond to questions in spoken language, so customers can reach the answer they want by conversing with “Helpippi™.” Also, unlike conventional chatbots, it has the ability to retain context and remembers the questions customers have asked, so by asking a question and receiving an answer twice, it is possible to get an answer that takes into account the previous question.
High response accuracy
Helppippi™ has learned knowledge from our vast number of FAQs, and is able to provide accurate answers to a wide variety of questions. Using unique technology, Helppippi™ creates answers by referencing correct FAQ knowledge, and reconsiders answers to additional questions, resulting in highly accurate answers.
Guaranteeing transparency by clearly indicating the source
When Helppippi™ shows an answer in text form, it will clearly indicate the source of the relevant information at the end of the answer. By clearly indicating the source, it is possible to provide more transparent information to customers.
About the character “Helpippi™”
“Helpippi™” is designed to be a friendly character who seems like a conversation partner.
The name and character of “Helpippi™” are currently under trademark application.
SBI Sumishin Net Bank will utilize cutting-edge technology with a customer-centric approach to transform financial services, aiming to make society more comfortable and convenient.
