SBI Holdings establishes "SBI FinTech Center OSAKA"
SBI Holdings will open the "SBI FinTech Center OSAKA" at the innovation support facility "JAM BASE" in the Umekita district on April 1st.
SBI Holdings has been collaborating with Osaka Prefecture and City to realize the International Financial City concept through various initiatives, including:
- Providing advisory services
- Assisting in attracting overseas companies
- Sponsoring the Osaka-Kansai Expo
- Promoting digital regional currency initiatives in the Osaka region
For fiscal year 2025, SBI Holdings is further demonstrating its commitment to Osaka Prefecture and City by establishing the "SBI FinTech Center OSAKA".
Specific Initiatives of SBI FinTech Center OSAKA
The center plans to:
- Provide SBI Group resources to companies focusing on fintech in the Osaka-Kansai region
- Disseminate SBI Group's fintech and Web3 technologies and services externally
- Collaborate with local financial institutions and support organizations
- Facilitate business matching and host events in the fintech and Web3 domains
Upcoming planned events include:
- July 2025: Blockchain Business Contest (in collaboration with Osaka Prefecture and City)
- August 2025: "WebX Fintech EXPO powered by SBI Group" - a gathering of financial industry experts, major financial institutions, startups, investors, and regulators from Japan and abroad to discuss technological innovations and regulatory trends in next-generation financial markets
SBI Holdings continues to work with Osaka Prefecture and City to realize the International Financial City concept.

It supports enterprises, universities, research institutions, startups, and venture capitals in shaping new ideas and challenging social implementation and business development. Various activities are promoted and supported collaboratively by private sector, administrative, and economic organizations, aiming to become an innovation activity hub.
