MUFG Innovation Partners, the corporate venture capital arm and a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), recently invested in Kasanare through its MUFG Innovation Partners №3 Investment Partnership.
Kasanare aims to make everyday work easier through its custom-made generative AI solutions, which are tailored to solve companies’ various business challenges. By leveraging its strengths in areas of LLM operations and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), Kasanare’s SaaS product enables companies to optimize the use of generative AI across their entire enterprise through improved linkage between external data sources and their internal data systems while meeting data protection requirements.
The name “Kasanare” comes from the Japanese term for “customer-success-knowledge”, embodying the company’s philosophy of committing to client success. Although demand for generative AI implementation in businesses has grown, simply adopting off-the-rack solutions has often failed to deliver the desired results in the workplace. Guided by its founding philosophy, Kasanare aims to maximize the potential of generative AI and provide valuable solutions that address the unique challenges of its clients.
A number of MUFG group companies have already begun working with Kasanare. MUIP will continue to support the promotion of Kasanare’s solutions through its partnership with MUFG.
For example, in a pilot project for Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking, Kasanare was trained with the trust bank’s system specifications and business manuals, and company was able to automate some of the inquiries sent to specialized departments and reduced the overall response times by 50%.
