DGFT's common QR code payment service installed on parking lot payment machines

DG Financial Technology (DGFT), a subsidiary of Digital Garage, has implemented its shared QR code payment solution "Cloud Pay" in the "GT-4200", a newly released cashless parking payment machine by Amano Corporation, a major parking system company that accounts for approximately 60% of the domestic market share of gate-type parking equipment.

As a result, the new payment machine "GT-4200" now allows QR code payments for multiple brands. This is DGFT's first solution for parking automatic payment machines, and the first step in supporting cashless payments in the parking market.

As this machine is "fully cashless" and does not handle cash, it can be introduced at a lower cost than conventional cash-compatible payment machines. It also reduces the hassle of collecting cash and the risk of theft, contributing to labor savings and more efficient management operations.

Users can pay with "PayPay," "au PAY," "d Pay," "Rakuten Pay," and "Merpay," which not only shortens payment times compared to cash settlement, but also improves convenience by accumulating points for each QR code service when making a payment.

"Cloud Pay" provided by DGFT is one of Japan's largest payment platforms for bundled QR code payment services, which can be used simply by signing a contract with DGFT. The ease with which QR code payment can be introduced has been highly praised by a wide range of businesses that face challenges in operational efficiency and cashless transactions, and its introduction is spreading not only to retail stores and restaurants, but also to the automated machine market, including online payments, vending machines, payment machines, and amusement facilities such as game centers.
