ST Overview

Background

MDM is Japan's first digital-native asset management company that comprehensively develops, manages, and sells digital securities funds backed by real assets such as real estate and infrastructure. Through its digital securities asset management service "ALTERNA", it aims to provide new options for stable asset formation for the future.

Following the 14 digital securities public funds already under management (9 of which are sold on ALTERNA), MDM collaborated with Shinsei Trust Bank, SBI Shinsei Bank, and BOOSTRY to organize and sell this new public fund.

Shinsei Trust Bank, as a trust bank specializing in asset securitization, is developing security token products to support the STO (Security Token Offering) market. It provides services for the issuance and management of this security token as its first project, leveraging its expertise in asset liquefaction and securitization.

Moving forward, they will strive to provide valuable financial services to customers by utilizing cutting-edge digital technologies.

SBI Shinsei Bank provided a non-recourse loan for this security token project managed by MDM. In its medium-term management plan "SBI Shinsei Bank Group's Medium-Term Vision", one of their goals is to be a "leading banking group providing pioneering and advanced financial services". In the advanced technology-driven real estate STO field, they have established a system to meet various customer needs by leveraging their expertise in real estate non-recourse loans and collaborating within the SBI Shinsei Bank Group.

BOOSTRY was established with the mission of "connecting challengers and supporters by enabling the transfer and use of all rights". They provide IT services centered on the blockchain platform "ibet" and the consortium-type blockchain platform "ibet for Fin" that enables the issuance, management, and distribution of security tokens. "ibet for Fin", which already manages multiple security tokens backed by corporate bonds and other assets, is the only domestic consortium-type blockchain platform for security tokens that supports multi-assets.

They will continue to create diverse fundraising methods through cross-industry collaboration and provide further investment opportunities to investors.
